Welcome to Sigma Alpha Iota at the University of Georgia!

The University of Georgia is located in the music-rich city of Athens, Georgia. In short, Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) is an international music fraternity. Music is the main focus, whether it is in composition, conducting, performance or appreciation, SAI has it all! SAI harbors a strong interest in their member’s abilities to succeed in their musical endeavors, career development, and in giving back to their communities. The Iota Zeta chapter at UGA currently has 50 active members encompassing a variety of majors, career paths, and musical foci. Iota Zeta is part of the Tau A province, which encompasses all SAI chapters contained within the northern half of the state of Georgia.
